AIOTI, the Alliance for AI, IoT and Edge Continuum Innovation, is a central platform for advancing IoT and related technologies in Europe.
At the workshop, Trialog is facilitating two sessions focused on defining the requirements and content of a “Manifesto for Reusable Ontologies”, a topic currently under active discussion in the semantic interoperability community.
These sessions build on the work of Henon Mengistu Lamboro from Trialog, especially in the design of the RESONANCE ontology, which prioritises the reuse of existing reference ontologies.
The workshop aims to produce the manifesto as a key deliverable, bringing together academia, standardisation bodies and industry to shape a final set of principles. Other topics covered at the workshop include semantic interoperability and AI and semantic modelling of Digital Twins.
The workshop takes place in Frankfurt on 24-25 March 2026. Find the full programme HERE.
