On 3 December 2025, Dušan Gabrijelčič and Davud Topalović from the Jožef Stefan Institute presented RESONANCE at a workshop on digital twins for the energy transition, which took place at the Jožef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

The workshop was organised as part of the GOTOTWIN project, which aims to support the wider use of renewable energy in the Adriatic–Ionian region by applying digital twin technologies: virtual models that help improve the design, operation and efficiency of energy systems.

During the event, the presenters introduced the RESONANCE project, explaining its goals and sharing insights into current work on developing digital twins for residential heat pumps to help make home energy systems smarter and more efficient.

The GOTOTWIN project is co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg IPA Adrion programme (IPA-ADRION00406).
